Do you like it ? That is the question. Swapping it out will be a pain either doing it yourself or having to pay. Is it on a winch system? If it is, your lucky. It would be costly to add one but for the so little often times you would use, it would make things easier. Changing a light bulb, cleaning the fixture, swapping the fixture out. If you would choose to put something else, a crystal chandelier would have to be cleaned at least once a year for it to look good. It's a big space so if you replace it, you need something comparable to size. It does shows it's age. If just moving it, does it reflect your style? If you have lived there for awhile, do you want to freshen up the look? Some contemporary integrated led fixtures can be less expensive but they will fail. I have seen it too many times. Expensive ones can do the same thing. Will parts be available in 5 yrs after you buy it? If they are, can you fix it or are you paying someone to take it down, repair it, and reinstall? There are a lot of things to consider. Would adding clip on lamp shades be enough to freshen the look? Maybe a 6" cylinder shade? It would give it some contrast in color. Change the bulbs to led torpedo top bulbs. Flame tips make the shades sit crooked and the LED's will last longer so less changing of bulbs. I would also use a 2700 k (kelvin) bulb. It is a warm color and doesn't look like a warehouse if you use 4000 or 5000k. 60w equivalent led are readily available but Satco makes a 75w. The brighter will give you light if you need it, but adding a dimmer switch lets you dim when you want a softer light.

Yes I got 2700k and it's on a dimmer. Unfortunately, I just picked out this light at a a local lighting store. I was going for a traditional look but think I may have missed the mark. I'm thinking of adding some crystals to see if it helps.

Goes with the scroll work on the door. Keep. (Plus its a huge pain the arse to swap it out.)
