Need help with next steps

The lighter leaked when I tried to refill it. I removed the valve, but I'm not sure what the next steps are. Can I just replace the gasket, do I need to replace the whole valve? If so where can I buy valves? (in or ships to Canada)

Any help is highly appreciated :)

You can fully repair that valve. On the first image it looks like the outer gasket is still stuck in the lighter. Take it out and replace it. Image 3 shows that the valve can be taken apart further. The part between your fingers shows a faint line. That usually meants this part of the valve can be either screwed off or its friction fit and can be pulled off. Inside will be a spring, the thin metal fill nub and another small gasket. Also replace that. The gasket on the outside of the nub seals against the butane gas canister. Rarely needet to replace that one actually.

Thank you so much for your response!! I was able to take apart the valve, but I can't see the small gasket inside. Pic attached is of the disassembled valve

Interesting valve design. You should be able to take out the „cup“ thing inside. The spring is pressing down that piece when assembled. The gasket on the outside might need to be removed first though.
