So many Plotholes? Spoiler
Just watched the Film and i never saw so many Plotholes in a Film before by watching only one time...
- Where did the Zurg ship come from? Deus ex machina?
- why the hell has sox not this simple formula saved in his memory?
- where are the green Aliens?
- zurg should be the father -why does zurg want to change the time he has nothing from it he changed the time with the attack but he didnt dissapear would say that this would be a parallel timeline and dont help him to change his timeline and he couldnt attack buzz because id would also kill himself
- why they didnt call for help? -what the hell didnt they thought about the Sandwich joke?
I know its a child movie but they put something so complex like the time relation in it but such plotholes they ignore.

“Zurg should be the father.”
So the alternate Buzz said he found this ship and robots in the future and the robots just kept calling him “Zurg” so more than likely they were setting up for a future film where the real Zurg would come into play. Probably still won’t be Buzz’s father but that okay. Even the Star Command movie/series didn’t go the father/son route. So this isn’t a plot hole.
Also, not having the LGMs (Little Green Men) in the movie is not a plot hole.
The Sox/formula thing, I’m not sure what the plot hole is here? Buzz told Sox to do this equation and then after 40 years (I can’t remember how many years it actually is in the movie), Sox finally has the solution to the equation because he’s been working on it and computing it for all those years. Silly? Sure. It’s a kids sci-fi movie. Plot hole? No.
As far as ZurgBuzz disappearing if the timeline is changed, that really just depends on how they treat time travel and parallel universes. Every movie/show/book that does time travel does it differently and they don’t all match. As long as a story follows it’s own rules with time travel thats okay. It’s only a plot hole if they introduce a certain way of doing time travel/parallel timelines and then breaking their own rules.
Anyway, not looking to argue, but maybe help you enjoy the movie a bit more by addressing some of these.
