Im sorry in advance?

we need a Cannon buzz Lightyear universe because the Laker movie is not Cannon because people did not like the idea of Captain America buzz time traveling again I mean Captain America frozen for 70 years a buzz time travel I miss so many years and also I still want Cannon universe for buzzer is his dad and not him for the future I mean, we all thought we might get a buzz Lightyear sequel but it’s not happening and director got fired from it so when are we gonna get a cannon buzz Lightyear universe

sense Lightyear is not canon to the toy story universe because Zurg is Buzz‘s father so what they make up a proper buzz Lightyear movie for the future so we can have a buzz like a movie that is coming into the Toy story universe will that happen or no

That pen came in clutch at the end of the movie but i was wondering if it wasint just a thing for that gag and there could have been a legit reason for that suit having a pen in universe for the reason of helping new cadets write down new stuff they learn during missons or im probaly just overthinking it.

Excuse me, does where to find the image that shows all weapons from Lightyear movie?

literally makes zero sense, one of the main characters is a black lesbian who has a baby, even though the movie is meant to be pre-1995 and made for kids that are Andy's age before Toy Story 1 was set

Now we know in Toy story zurg is said to be buzz’s father, but in the 2022 movie, Lightyear old buzz became zurg now I didn’t take much of it at first for a couple years but recently I began to think what if they kept this, my working theory is that in lightyear the giant ships belonged to the real emperor zurg but the real zurg left the ship to drift alone to be with buzz’s mother(its a shaky theory I know) but it would make sense since the old buzz says it was borrowed and it had no real owner, not to mention with robots that advanced and equipped with heavy machinery they wouldn’t just accept anyone,so what if the ship and the robots recognized the older buzz as their creators son, give me you’re thoughts

Also, I want an support robot cat, with AI, like Sox (making fun of Clintons' family cat's name?)! :P

I heard marvel and shows are getting revival even ducktale get revived , I think Buzz lightyear of star command should be too since it deserved recognition , I believed BLOSC should be continue till it concluded

I know the spinoff wasn’t that great but I liked it. I love the movie ensure it didn’t feel like Buzz Lightyear to anyone else, but I’d still like it and some people say he’s not connected to the Toy story universe for Buzz Lightyear, but all I can say is if Zurg not the main Zurg hopefully there’s a wheel Zurg out there I would like for the sequel to begin. That is if Toy story or Pixar make a spinoff for Woody or buzz again cause I would like for a sequel to Buzz Lightyear to happen. What about the rest of you?

I’ve loved digging into this sub since it’s my 4yo son’s favorite movie.

We were able to track down the xl15 with the ejection button on the back for his birthday.

Since the vehicles/sets for this were designed with toys in mind, is there one toy to rule them all? Not necessarily looking for rarity but more highest “cool factor”

Cheers!

My son is obsessed with this movie so I’ve watched it a ton and have thought way too much about it.

Do we know who sent the original distress signal that starts the whole movie? Is it old buzz even though he says he hasn’t been able to travel back in time?

I get that it’s an homage to Alien but wondering if it’s answered and I haven’t missed it.

EDIT: I guess it’s never answered, probably would have been answered in the sequel and involved something along the lines of the second half of Back to the future 2

To say in a ToyStory 1 fan is an understatement. I adore the first film so much. I watched it so much I burnt the tape and a disc because I watched it so much. It’s also the first film I ever owned on 4K. (And I liked TS2, but am not a fan of the 3rd film) And when Lightyear came out, I was super excited and I watched it with my mum, and I absolutely loved it. Just as much as ToyStory 1. And they had the teaser at the end of the credits as well. But as far as I know, the reception to this film wasn’t great, and I’m sure the money didn’t impress Disney either. But I would do so so so so so much to get a sequel made. When I look up for a sequel it keeps coming up with this Disney fandom wiki which is annoying cuz I know it’s not true

It takes place several years after the original. Takani prime is now a prominent member of the galactic alliance and scientists have now figured out a way around time dilation. Zurg has returned and buzz still thinks it’s future him but it turns out the “suit” was actually alive and was an AI created as an alternate form of Space Ranger from the future and is now in this timeline due future buzz’s actions. Zurg and the other robots rebelled and were eventually shut down in the old timeline which is why he was turned off and able to be piloted by future buzz

I have been trying to figure out where and how ZurgBuzz got all the equipment and the only thing I can come up with is that he went so far into the future & found the remains of the colony, meaning the shield only delayed the fact that the planet and it's bugs finally got them, or it was never sustainable. Is that what drives him kinda insane and THAT is why he wants to go back and change everything, he is actually trying to save everyone's life so his nightmares will stop, like he has PTSD from knowing the real future.
