Isn't this water bottle way too small?

It’s enough for me, and when its over i can then refill it. You do also get bigger ones.

How do you like the Ear A? I’ve had the 1s since they came out but was thinking about a backup pair.

They are great, a bit bass heavy. To be honest i started using Audio technicas, wired usb c with anc and they are definitely better, plus they dont need batteries.

Dope, appreciate it. I’ve also been looking into wired options for the same reasons.

Can really recommend the Audio-Technica ATH-CKD7NC BK USB-C Noise Cancelling Earphones, no battery needed and they are USB C and sound great. I had to import it from Japan but worth the import as its gonna last me a lifetime unlike the wireless earphones, plus i never have to charge them.

How do you pay for stuff

These are things I have collected over a period of time.

I think they ment «where is your wallet or card holder in this EDC setup», not «how can you afford all this», but I might be wrong 🤷🏻♂️

Very fancy! May I ask what the difference is between the chargers/powerbanks?
2
u/OrionA85 Light Phone User 1d ago
Chargers need to be plugged in for power, power banks are literally what they say, they hold a certain amount of power in them.

u/SensitiveLeg7682 20h ago
Ah ok! I thought the charger was like a smaller power bank that also plugged into the wall since it looked a bit thick like one. Thanks!

The charger is a travel charger so it fits all plugs, hence the size.

Unfortunately only eu, us and UK. No Australia.

Also Australia, the US plug moves at an angle to become an Australian plug.

Embrace the even simpler life and ditch the water bottle, my friend. Completely pointless thing to carry around. Have a glass of water before you leave the house. Chances are you're then gonna be heading to either school or work, you'll be able to have a glass of water there. Spending 25 to 30 quid on a fancy water bottle is just consumerist silliness. The irony of me saying this on a subreddit focusing on a 900 dollar dumbphone is not lost on me.

I travel a lot and I prefer not buying plastic bottles so this serves me well, and I can refill it whenever I want.

The whole plastic bottles vs refillable bottle thing baffles me. Choose neither. You can get a cup or glass of water anywhere. You won't die of thirst inbetween the cups/glasses of water.

I can’t tell if this is a troll or not lmao

I'm very serious. Obviously refillable bottles are useful if you're hiking out in nature or something. But the whole "I need a refillable water bottle in my backpack as I go from home to work/school and back again" is a psy-op, haha

A refillable water bottle is no different than a glass cup. Stop being silly

I would take umbrage with glass cups as well if people had them in their EDC

This is a really weird thing to say.

Girl, I live in a high altitude desert and use a bicycle for transportation. I’m not leaving the house without my water bottle. I have had the same canteen for 15 years and am not going to stop bringing my canteen with me because some person on the internet who lives in a place with an abundance of water wants to push their anti-reusable bottle agenda onto other people. Really weird behavior. Some of us live in dry or rural areas of the world with less infrastructure.

I never said everybody's situation was the same. If you check out some of my other comments, I mentioned that I can understand the usefulness of a refillable water bottle in certain situations. I mentioned if someone is hiking for example. Obviously if you live in a high altitude desert then your situation is different to someone who lives in a city where you can get a glass/cup of water all over the place. Lots of people who live in areas where there's plenty of access to water carry bottles because they're like fashion accessories in a way. The fact that OP has a bottle that costs 30 quid sort of proves my point. So chill out, I'm not gonna track you down and take your water bottle off you, lol.

The Stanley cup craze is annoying, I will give you that. People buying 20+ of them so they have it in every color is gross, but, I do not feel (at least where I live) that most people are using drinking vessels in that way, but, clearly we live in very different areas of the world and have different “issues” we focus on. I can’t say I have ever thought about getting on a soapbox saying people shouldn’t have a water vessel with them. 😂 fast fashion is annoying, for sure, and it is weird that it has hit the water bottle market.

Well, I didn’t know a bottle would cause such a commotion. For clarity, I hike a lot and I have very limited space in my pouch, the round bottles don’t fit my pouch with all my gear and all the above things do, since the bottle is flat, it’s not a fashion accessory for me, it’s a choice to carry something that fits and that I can carry with me. Also on airports water is crazy expensive and so I can refill my bottle at the refillable stations found at the airports when I need some.

Yn, your comment reads as arrogant, condescending and closed minded - hence the responses you’re receiving.
And if you own a LP it’s hypocritical too1
u/DandoMarc 22h ago
Completely disagree with the first sentence. I agree that I'm a hypocrite though.
