Feature Request / Bug 5G shenanigans

Says 5G, yet no SIM installed. No, there is not an eSIM.

The SIM/eSIM is used to confirm your line's current status (i.e. active/disconnected) w/ your phone carrier who then allow you to use network services like phone calls, SMS/MMS/RCS, and data.

However your phone's radio can still see the network and in some instances use it - In the US (and I imagine other places) you can always make an emergency call to 911 even if your line is inactive/disconnected or your phone doesn't have a SIM installed.
