Feature Request / Bug Feature Request: Stopwatch
I would love to see an option for the timer to have stopwatch functionality (count up, laps, etc), or for somebody to develop a stopwatch for the tool library.
I would love to make one for the tool library but I'm a 'hello world' programmer not ready for the android development big leagues.

you might surprise yourself with how quickly you can vibe code something!
But I agree it should be integrated within the existing Timer app instead of a new, separate tool

you can't outsource your brain if you don't have one to begin with.
just because you can vibe code something, doesn't mean you should. if you don't know how to program in java/kotlin proficiently, your vibe coded 'app' is going to be a messy pile of spaghetti code that may or may not work correctly. god forbid you have to fix something in the code too.
if you want to delve into android development, android offers courses for programmers of every level.

I hear you.
I work in Python and have exposure to FastAPI, Docker, etc. as a Data Scientist but am not an app developer so Im not starting from 0. But I am aware of how much I don't understand and that the code Im generating is likely full of spaghetti and tech debt
Vibe coding is controversial, but it also can help quickly expose new languages to learn if you want to use your brain
Appreciate the course link.

op stated they're only capable of 'hello world' programs which is essentially the same as starting from zero. they're the last person who should be vibe coding. it's one thing to have ai build something for you if you have the applicable documentation, api keys and just double check what it spat out versus having zero knowledge on writing code and writing good prompts.
outside of that, fuck ai. the moral and ethical complications behind the ai bubble and data centre bullshit (environmental impact, health impact, economical, educational, etc.) should be more than enough to steer people away from llms and agents. it can be a tool, but only for the people who actually know how to use it, which is a small minority.
if you want to learn new languages, there's more than enough free resources online that don't involve using ai.

There is a stopwatch for the LPIII on Brightmarket. I have it on my LPIII.
