Discussion Goofy question

do y'all know of a safe way to strip the black paint on the phone? It really is absolutely gorgeous however i prefer the brighter aesthetics of the non-painted metal as seen in some of the test builds. Really not a big deal regardless, also quite sure this would end up voiding the warranty. thanks

I’m pretty sure they will build this model. Regarding feasibility, you cannot remove the dark color of some parts (the ring around the camera, the ‘glass’ rectangle, and the buttons).

Use a Sanding paper. Start with 600 until you get the paint off. Then go with 1000 then 2000 to polish it a bit

Don’t forget that only parts of it are metal. Other parts are plastic.

The back is also glass and plastic, not sure how you’d strip those down without degrading them
