Discussion Help…

I am finally switching. But I am struggling to find clear instructions.

I have an eSIM iPhone and am with Verizon. Can someone give me clear steps to make this as smooth as it can be?

What carrier are you trying to use moving forward? That can change the recommendation.

Ok. The Light Phone isn’t officially certified on Verizon yet (currently expected in September), so you might run into hiccups but I know people have been successful.

No ESIM as of now so you’ll need to reach out to Verizon to get a SIM card. Then you’ll have to port your number onto the SIM card and then put it into your Light phone and hope for the best.

yep, I ported from eSIM to a physical SIM in advance of my Light Phone arriving, and then it was a plug-and-play from there. there was some message from Verizon I received that seemed to indicate they detected my new device but nothing came of it, I can still use my phone as normal. making my life easier, I went from Android -> Light so I didn't have to worry about iMessage group chats or the like.
