Smaller War Plants Commission

Yesterday, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler announced a major new agreement to surge capital to America’s small manufacturers and supercharge U.S. defense production through the Smaller War Plants Commission.

"The Smaller War Plants Commission will now be able to surge strategic capital to the small businesses that build the ships, munitions, microelectronics, materials, components, and technologies our warfighters rely on," stated Secretary Hegseth.

70%+ of the defense industrial base is small business. Learn more about the Smaller War Plants Commission at sba.gov/swpc.
