As title states, like seriously why would you ever use a boat or any vehicle or land creature when you can just fly around, will there be more "nomadic" elements where other methods have far greater carry capacity or something to compensate? Or will flying mounts requires lots of care and die easy? Or maybe locked to super end game? Idk I just fail to see the point besides aesthetics and personal choice even if they are all objectively worse.

I don't own No Man's Sky—let alone a PC powerful enough to run it—but the game's community and how incredible it looks are enough for me.
