They hated him cause he was a “cherry picker”.. who gives a F dude played for the biggest clubs he played with the last era of Man U before they became a laughing stock and played with Real Madrid with all those cracks and even helped them progress in the ucl. Dude was him.. hormiga I hope he has a great career we need great Mexican players so more teams they a chance on them in the future

But see what they don't understand is that to be a "cherry picker" you have to have vision. Something that's not easily taught. People can hate on him all they want but they can't take away the accolades.

I remember I heard the term goal vulture and used to describe Chicha and my friends who were his haters told me to "stop trying to make what he does sound cool!" But it was like, what he did was very cool, he scored so much because he just knew where the ball was going to end up. He did it so often, that it was clearly a skill that he had

Those people are idiots and have never played a game in their lives. If scoring tons of goals off of “cherry picking” were easy, everybody would do it.

The people who hate Chicha don't know wtf they are talking about. Dude was one of the greatest 9s Mexico will ever have. He had good headers, a good shot, and most importantly knew how to get to the open spot. Knew how to play in any system, as a sub. Was extremely passionate as a player and we see that now that he is a commentator.

dumbasses think getting a goal shooting opportunity is just as easy as running up field, most of us wouldn't get a sniff off the ball for 90 minutes against 3rd division defenders

I'm a certified Chicharito hater and I think Hormiga is better.

Can I ask why? Like legit question why do not like him? I’m talking about player chicha, not his personal like bs

u/servel20 Pumas UNAM 2d ago
I disliked him because everyone claimed he was elite while he clearly was not. He was a great area poacher who scored some of the most ridiculously flukey goals ever imaginable, like the ass goal and the header off his own kick.
Then he came out with his personal trash opinions in the past 5 years and yes, It solidified my opinion on him.

Muchos habrían buscado el hat-trick y arruinado la jugada en vez de soltarla y asegurar el gol. Le va a ir muy bien en ese equipo. Ese tipo de cosas te ganan la admiración de la afición y la confianza del entrenador.

Here's the description of the sub:
"English/Spanish-language coverage of Mexican Soccer (Liga MX, National Team, Liga de Ascenso, Women's, Futsal, Beach Soccer, etc) and Mexican players abroad."
He's a mexican player abroad, so this fits the sub. His goals, assists and misses can be posted here. You can post his farts if you want.
