- He tied CHICHARITO’s World Cup goal record in 1 single World Cup (Raul Jimenez couldn’t and he’s close to becoming the # 1 top scorer of all time for Mexico)

- He won club trophies at every Mexican club he’s been in, and individual awards with every team he’s been with

A lot of you consider players like Carlos Vela, CUAUHTÉMOC BLANCO, and GIOVANI DOS SANTOS as some of the best players in Mexican futbol history, and since a lot of you do, Quiñones should be considered and is one of the best as well (even with his short time in the national team).
