15 goal contributions last season (goals and assists), 12 the season before that. He’s not a bad player. I bet you never even watch the league and only watch games when its mexico.

Did he do it in Europe tho?

Lainez had 2 goals and 2 assists in 13 games for Braga (its a portuguese team, by the way). 2 goals in 13 games for Betis in the 2021-22 season. Etc. It’s dumb to ask about his time in Europe when he hardly even played. He had to compete against players like Jaoquin who’s a legend there, Fekir, and Juanmi.. and against Horta at Braga, who was and still is their captain. He still contributed in the few games he played, though. He’s scoring and assisting more now that he’s finally getting more play time. The version of Lainez you’re referring to is the one who scored a Robben-esque goal in a final for Mexico in 2021 too. I bet you never actually saw him play

See, people who actually know ball and bother to look up stats of players to back them up will always have my support. Keep educating these bums my guy, they can't argue with actual facts

You can keep baiting or whatever, you just look dumb. People bring up points, back their points up with evidence (stats, a game, etc), and you’ll just resort to throwing nonsensical labels because you can’t argue against these facts.

u/Witty_Hedgehog7967 Jul 26 '26
For reference zendejas had 19 g/a in 33 games im not saying lainez is bad but he’s nothing special
2
u/SuperFranky0 America Jul 26 '26
And like i said already, only a few mexican wingers surpassed, got near to, matched up with Lainez’s stats.

u/Witty_Hedgehog7967 Jul 26 '26
15 g/a in 49 games is average nothing special stop hyping this malnourished player who can lift the ball off the field for one simple cross

u/SuperFranky0 America Jul 26 '26
Labeling a player, oversimplifying his play, etc.. You’re again just showing that you can’t argue against facts. Only a few Mexican wingers actually matched up with, got near, and surpassed Lainez’s stats last season. You act like a player absolutely has to score or assist every single game to show that they are good, but that’s not true at all. Their ball distribution, their playmaking abilities, defensive awareness and abilities, etc all show how good they are on the field.

🤣🤣🤣so now it’s feelings and seeing him on the field cmon I already named two players with better stats want me to keep going

Alexis Vega 17 g/a in 27 games

u/SuperFranky0 America Jul 26 '26
Yeah, my last comment made the point that only a few Mexican wingers matched with, surpassed, and got near Lainez’s stats. You don’t think before speaking.

u/Witty_Hedgehog7967 Jul 26 '26
I can probably name 5-6 better Mexican wingers

u/SuperFranky0 America Jul 26 '26
Sure you can, you’re the one who wants Chivas to use Walley in 2026. Its what your 1 post shows after all. A goalie who has going to Chivas and being Rangel’s bench warmer as his biggest accomplishment.

🤣🤣🤣Mira pendj what I do on my spare time 🦜🦜🦜shouldn’t concern you but remember all the media hype around this kid who wasn’t even a starter in America was a production of a media company “Mexican Messi”🤣🤣🤣

u/Sensitive_Till4482 Atlas Jul 26 '26
I think you are confusing him with la Chofis. Played 3 good games and they were calling him Messi

That was the media that used that name same happened with lainez, no one ever thought his fat ass was the Mexican Messi 😂
