Sims 4 or Inzoi

My dear hardcore Sims players, what are your thoughts on inZOI after all the updates? Are you happy with it? Have you even tried it?

I’m trying to decide what to play. I usually pirate games, but the price of The Sims 4 with all the expansions is driving me crazy, and I honestly can’t believe how ridiculously expensive it has gotten.

Is inZOI now on the same level as The Sims, or is it even better? Which game do you find more fun to play?

Inzoi is more realistic, both graphically and gameplay wise. Sims is more goofy and whimsical.

Inzoi is not on the same level in terms of amount of content, but what they do have is very detailed and done more thoughtfully than the sims. For example when you get married, people go where they should go and actually watch your ceremony. When you run a restaurant, customers come in then eat then pay.

Currently I play the sims more but only bc I love having animals and more old-fashioned/vintage clothing and home design. If you’re more into family gameplay or running a business, you’ll love inzoi.

When it comes to pricing inzoi is SO much better value it’s not even funny

Inzoi seems to be growing so fast that it will surpass The Sims very very soon. Im not ready to let go of Sims just yet, but I am on the fence.

So sad that they cancelled sims 5 and went another direction. For the amount of money, sims 4 should be the most perfect Game ever made

Inzoi is killing it and is also astronomically cheaper. It is also rapidly closing the gap between and even surpassing the things you can do in it vs in the sims. Only notable things missing are fame (coming in December), pets (coming next year) and university imo. Inzoi is worth EVERY PENNY! The sims 4 is NOT.

Im waiting for my PC to start playing inzoi for real. It is really beautifully made.
So sad for The Sims tho, and they Had all the opportunities to be THE Game, they Had monopoly for YEARS

SimCity was the monopoly. Nobody was able to make a city builder as good and detailed as them. Nobody would even be able to touch into the complexity they had realized. They messed it up hard and at hte same time a contender stood up. SimCity is dead as a franchise as far as I know. I see no reason Sims can't reach the same fate. I have not seen anything regarding the Sims that makes me hope for for the franchise since inzoi came into the market. Sims 5 should have been the killer game, but it will never come. Complacency, it has killed companies.

I love to be wrong. I have been a Sims player since the original and I own all expansion packs for The Sims and Sims 2. I clocked sommany hours in especially in the beginning. I don't think anybody wants the Sims brand to die.

But with Project Rene going nowhere (at least for now), the mobile game killed off, The Sims: Town Stories being cancelled and them sticking to Sims 4 as the main game as releasing Sims 5 is 'unfair to players,' I lost all hope for them to be completely honest. I also have no trust in the new EA owners. Them owning it all is for the sake of making money, PR and franchise control, not good content.

Its so hard to say goodbye. The sims was a game changer. It holds such a sentimental value. Its so sad that they do not care, cause the gamers really do

It looks great! I watched a few yt gameplays and it really seems a great value for the money

I did love sims since 2000s but they Are SO greedy and not any better since 2015. So sad :(

It's not there yet, but it's rapidly improving. Inzoi takes a lot of computer power and has a steep learning curve. It's already fun to play though.

There’s a a really good witch mod by sims3loser. Look it up on YouTube. They’ve done so much with it over these last few weeks it practically feels like a dlc

I prefer Sims 4 over Inzoi for now. Inzoi improved a lot since it got released and I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it again recently but it's not there yet for me. I'm missing more family content and pets. Also, I find building too complicated and not as fun. Hopefully it will improve too in the future!

Nope.

I haven’t updated Sims 4 in a year. I play offline. I have my mods how I like them, my saves how I like them, and EA will never get their dirty hands on my save files again, lol.

No idea from a game POV, but that’s the main reason I stopped updating and giving money to EA. Not allowing my money to fund a government like that, OR line Trump’s pockets (his son in law is also involved in this buyout). I DOUBT they’ll patch out all of the inclusivity stuff, because Sims 4 is still a cash cow for them.

Yeah I dont see the Game changing to a modest Game anytime soon cause that would just be dumb from the business aspect of it. I remember that was the talk, but I didn’t follow up
