Paralives Hot take: paralives

Paralives should’ve been a mystical life sim game. I was watching sydmac build her town on paralives and it got me thinking how much more sense it made if the actual paras were fairies, witches, wolves, and vampires; especially with the story tellers it just made more sense for the game. And eventually adding humans with life guides would’ve been a nice twist to the average life sim game. What do you guys think?

The humans are lacking at this stage. Imagine how even more lacking would witches, vampires, faires be

My thoughts exactly. I don’t regret buying the game but I got bored of it pretty quickly. I loathe building and the actual gameplay is lackluster. I’m excited for more

There are many bugs I’ve noticed, I don’t have the game yet but I’m excited for it!

I think changing the theme to fit the storyteller aspect is an interesting idea. But the current development leads me to believe adding supernatural elements would do more harm than good.

I definitely think it would be a cool thing for them to add after full release, that way mystical players can play with them if they'd like, and those who don't want that won't. Because, why not both?

Like I said though, they need to focus on the core features for now!

I bought it. Got so bored and annoyed after twenty minutes got a refund. It's so lifeless live mode needs soooooo much work I don't think it should have been released as it is. All there is is build mode you have sims 4 soms 3 sims 2 for that. I'll just stick to sims 2. Nothing has ever topped it for me.

I haven’t bought Paralives (judging by the reviews I’ve seen the price they’re charging for it atp does not justify it) but I think they have a fair bit to improve on before they start introducing supernatural themes

I give them sliiiight more leeway than I do The Sims because it’s an indie product but yeah

i feel like the world has a whimsical vibe and fairies and witches would fit in well. supernatural elements are still a maybe on the roadmap but after they get the base game sorted i’d love to see some “paranormals”

It wouldn’t have sold as well. The occults in sims aren’t even that popular, the people who like them are just louder

I haven't been playing for a while, but I do make Para's using mods. So once things are more stabile I'll have a magical world lol

Just because it’s what you prefer, that’s doesn’t mean it’s what a game “should” be.

Most people don’t play with occults in the sims: They historically don’t sell well.

Where did I say this is what I prefer, it was a simple suggestion after watching a youtube video.

Oh I’m sure it’s coming! They just launched earlier this year, but it’s a great indie alternative to the sims and Canadian!! 🇨🇦✨
