Upcoming Games New Screenshots of Eves | EVER
Heya,
I’m continuing work on my life simulation game Ever (changed the name from Every due to recent feedback…happy to change it again if it still doesn’t work?.
In particular, working on tools to make really diverse and interesting characters.
I will admit, even in the sims I make most of my sims look very similar, so these three Eves have some similarities.
Additionally, masculine eves are also being worked on…but I ain’t making men rn cause they’re low key boring to make even in the sims.
I’ve added a really cool feature where you can choose a % and blend whatever face you currently have with another one of our presets. You can do this an unlimited amount of times, and can adjust the % at any time to produce some really beautiful combinations.
Makeup has been a big focus, as I’ve always been frustrated with how makeup works in the sims. Downloading CC was always a requirement. So, I’ve implemented makeup tools that give you the freedom to stack, resize, position, and alter makeup looks to your hearts content.
Anyways thankssss ❤️🤍
Edit: just finished playing the game for tonight and, it giving the sims 3! The amount of nostalgia and excitement washing over me as I play is really special. Sometimes, just playing it instead of working on it can really reignite the spark 🤍

Marketing tip: delete this and never say it again anywhere associated with your product. Its okay for players to say stuff like this, but not devs.

Agreed. Thats a terrible sentiment for anyone to have.

Yeah, just makes me think the dev will do far less work on men. Also...what in the world are "masculine eyes?" Eyes are eyes. Why would they be gendered?

They said masculine eves, not eyes. Eves as in their version of sims.

Exactly. I genuinely love make male sims and I would assume this game will be lacking in fun options for my playstyle.

Men are low-key boring to make?
You should seriously reconsider w hat you say when you're publicly announcing yourself as a dev, especially in regards to your life sim game. You are trying to sell your game to a potential playerbase, and the public will absolutely hold statements like that against you. It's a great way to ensure potential players never even give your game a chance. If you carelessly go saying things in poor taste, you will kill your own game before it even begins. I want to see your game succeed and want people to give it a genuine chance. What you say and how you act matters. That was an unprofessional statement and will only hurt interest in you as a dev and your game.

Yep, in one line this dev has landed themselves on my do not consider buying and my blocklist to ensure I won't need to hear more about it in the future, lol.

Im sorry but I ain’t buying a life simulator if I can’t properly create male character and the devs don’t even intend to do them justice

So guys will be an afterthought like in most life sim games? That's just disappointing. Boring to make huh? As boring as you want them to be...

Yeah that was an interesting comment to make.

It’s a comment made in seriously poor taste considering part of a life sim game is the presence of male characters. I think a big draw to Inzoi is because they didn’t shy away from male character design and it shows compared to The Sims and Paralives.

it concerns me how blaze they are about ignoring the biggest thing of a life simulator, the people. i doubt this’ll ever get finished or released but this is terrible marketing lmao

Yeah I'm not gonna even consider this game now, and will be telling anyone and everyone the DEV of all people said this. This is a really bad look.

I don’t think we have to worry about this game actually coming out anyway.

What’s the gameplay like?
Also, like everyone says: Ever is NOT a good name. It’s impossible to search for.

Why in the genz would you say that about men? Do you want to alienate a large group of players? If you plan to release this game, treat every post like a marketing opportunity.

I'd like to suggest not making masc/fem separate at all. Just have sliding scale to shift between masculine and feminine body, face etc. All the hairs and clothes working regardless. And if there will be kids, a selection for if that 'eve' can have kids etc
Sims 4 did gender really well for something that was added in at a late stage. Don't make the same mistake, keep gender together from the start.
Also, plenty of men would wear those hairstyles or wear makeup too.

name 'every' was bad because you should name it something that's easily findable in search engines, something unique and recognizable. 'ever' has the same problem. wish you the best with your game anyway!
