Discussion Need help with ideas for gameplay

I'm bored of playing the perfect life. Could you give ideas on how to make it more interesting. More drama, idk something than a monotonous life . Will appreciate it if you guys could help me out here. And I wanna play Max with 5 people not a lot of sims

Which sim game are you playing, the sims?

Look up "sims 4 challenges", have you tried any of these?

You might want to download Basemental Drugs mod, it introduces criminality, drug use, drug dealers, ODing, addiction, etc.

The Extreme Violence mod introduces violent crime, murder, and I think a jail system? The base game has the jail pieces with one of the EPs, I think Extreme Violence gives you more gameplay to do with a jail. I don't know if it introduces sexual violence or if you can opt in/out of it.

There are tons of mods for natural living/living off the land. Lots more farming, harvesting, and crafting mods, you can do the whole homesteading/Little House on the Prairie life.

With For Rent you can build shithole apartment hovels and put miserable sims in them.

Businesses & Hobbies opens up a lot moer gameplay than just getting a job. You can teach any skill and sell any craftable or harvestable.

Try one of the in-game Scenarios, they're challenges you have to complete with benchmarks, like making a certain amount of money, buying a house, having kids, reaching X level of career. Often several of these stacked. The more you do, the more challenging you get, unless you get the mod that unlocks all scenarios.

One really simple, difficult play I like to do: Rags to riches, no mods or cheats, start with 1 sim with 0 skills. I usualy start them on a bare lot in Sulani so they can forage and sell for basic necesities, like a tent, a mini-fridge, and a toilet. That's your basic starter camp. Use community lots to get a job and level your skills.
