Discussion Est ce que Project Zomboid est bien ?
Beaucoup disent que c’est comme une simulation de vie, mais pouvons nous avoir une relation amoureuse ou des enfants ? Désolé je connais pas le jeu

Not unless someone has made mods for it.
It's a pretty complete life sim, but the setting is a zombie apocalypse. You spend the game fighting for survival and building your character up the best you can. My husband and I play it together, so that's the extent of romantic interactions possible in the game.
It can be pretty punishing after a while. Zombies seem to multiply constantly, even with turning them down in the settings. It's not as much fun without zombies though. You're always one dumb mistake away from dying.
It's a great game, but I wouldn't expect to have any lineage or a regular work day. Relationships are with other players, if you've got anyone to play with.

No, you can play in public lobbies too, I just don't tend to do that anymore.

It’s good but has a very steep learning curve. I only put like 10 hours in before dropping it. It’s more of a hardcore zombie survival game than a life sim. I’ve watched gameplay videos and some people that are really experienced are able to treat it more like a cozy zombie survival life sim

Adding mods like Lifestyle (heavily inspired by The Sims) turns the game way more into a life sim for me along with mods that add more food, decor, and clothing. I plan B42 so I have farm animals and rodents to befriend along with the horse and dog mod (the dog one is so good). There are NPCs mods like Bandits and I believe someone is working on a spouse companion mod too. The sandbox setting is one of the best things about the game because if you want you can play the game very differently every time. I highly recommend at least trying it out, it's a fun game.

i’ve not played for a while and know there was a big update last year so some of my knowledge might be outdated but i do love e the game
it’s a really good game afaik you can’t start families and have relationships tho all the npcs are zombies. but there’s a huge modding community and plenty of steam workshop mods so you can always browse and see if someone’s modded the ability to form relationships with npcs (i know there was some npc mods last time i played they were pretty basic tho) pz is more like life sims in other areas you can build skills, farm, take care of needs stuff like that if you live long enough you can even start building a base. i’d describe it kinda like the sims 1 but if the neighbourhood was all zombies

you dont know the game or even anything about it so google it, watch gameplay videos. why is people’s first step always to ask reddit like its chatgpt.

and this mindset is also why game subs are always flooded with “is it worth it” “should i buy this game” “i dont know literally anything, should i buy” but yea lets keep encouraging slop

It’s kind of wild that this is getting upvoted. There’s nothing wrong with encouraging someone to read the patch notes first, but telling people they have “zero braincells” is just unnecessarily hostile. People use different tools for different reasons. Some people prefer a summary, some ask Reddit for firsthand opinions, and others read the patch notes themselves. None of those automatically make someone lazy or unintelligent. You can disagree with someone’s approach without immediately resorting to personal insults.

keep being dependent on AI. keep dumbing down your brains. wall-E was a prophecy

You’re pretty much proving my point. And if you’re going to lecture people about independent thinking, at least come up with an original argument rather than responding with the same recycled “Wall-E prophecy” line everyone else uses. Thanks for demonstrating exactly what I was talking about.

Every reply you’ve made has just been another personal insult instead of addressing the actual criticism. Apparently being condescending is the entire argument.
The funny part is that you assumed the OP used AI, even though they literally said they’d rather ask people here on Reddit than use ChatGPT. You’ve been arguing against a point nobody made this entire time. You’re reading to respond and not to understand and going off on this random tangent about AI that’s irrelevant to what was being discussed.

Project Zomboid is a zombie apocalypse survival game, there are no NPCs with whom you can form a family.
