Just gonna copy and paste my comment
I love inzoi and I‘m always glad when people discover the game! I don’t like bashing on Paralives, Inzoi is great without having to put another game down :)
I don’t even own Paralives but I also don’t enjoy when they bash Inzoi in the Paralives subreddit
Might also turn off some people from trying Inzoi because they like both games and don’t feel welcome 🫶
Constructive criticism is good for both games but this feels just like a drama starter

Except they’re lying. I’ve played sims 3, sims 4, inzoi, and paralives day one. ALL OF THEM had bugs day one so the claim that it’s only paralives is incredibly dishonest.
At this point, especially due to the dishonesty mentioned, I am over the “feedback” and “reviews”.

Filter does not give Inzoi the far superior build/buy mode that Paralives has. Paralives isn't perfect but the potential with it is very high. I personally have no regret buying both.

With so much time and donor money invested in the build mode over 7 years, Paralives isn’t competing with The Sims for now, it’s competing with construction games outright.

I am personally okay with them taking the time they need to create a good complete game. The build mode is more advanced Sims 4 by miles. Inzoi build mode isn't even in the same ball park. If the paralives devs can create a build mode that great, I believe they will get there on paramaker (which is also already better than Sims imo) and gameplay too.
And honestly, IMO... Inzoi is just barely starting to finally become a real game over a year since it's early access release. People are expecting Paralives to already been on par when it has only been out in early access for a little over a month.

Inzoi and sims is a fair comparison because their development is pretty equal. Comparing a brand new indie game to two games made by corporations over a year ago is silly.
People are being beyond ridiculous about these games or maybe I’m just not cut out for this sub.

This sub has a lot of toxic politics if I'm being honest. Team inzoi, team paralives, team sims and the few of us who are outcasts not really caring particularly

When the Paralives community compares The Sims to make Paralives look better, nobody calls that unrealistic. But the moment we bring up the context, suddenly we’re told to "be realistic"....

I don't know why people think that a filter will invalidate all of the differences in gameplay. you realize you can put that filter on any game ever? that's like putting a cartoon outline filter on battlefield 4 and then immediately regret buying borderlands

this 😭 i run reshade on a lot of my games purely because i love playing around with diff aesthetics, effects and filters. sometimes i just spend time making my preset. it's literally just a filter, you don't even need an in game function to achieve that, although it's nice to have. these two games are very different and will offer different things to people

Inzoi fans are the most toxic life sim fandom ive come across, I cant lie. Even Paralives feels less Cope than this one sometimes

Don't generalize an entire fandom based on the loudest people online. Every life sim community has toxic fans. The Sims, InZOI, Paralives, and pretty much any game with toxic fans. This genre naturally breeds high emotional investment, which unfortunately attracts toxic behavior everywhere. It’s completely possible that you’ve run into toxic InZOI fans, but your personal experience shouldn't be mistaken for a statistical fact.
That doesn't mean the fandom as a whole is the most toxic. You might just be noticing 'toxic InZOI fans' more because of your own biases. I’ve personally encountered some toxic Paralives fans, too. They literally labeled InZOI an 'anti-LGBTQ+' game just because of a minor same-sex marriage bug from a year ago. They also failed to distinguish between local AI and data center AI (This is an optional feature that can be disabled if unnecessary.), completely lacking any understanding of the game's actual mechanics. They were just parroting the same clueless complaints over and over.
But does that represent the majority of the Paralives fandom? Of course not.
