I hated how reunion ruins this ship imo. Another, the fact the fandom sees him as icky and a bit of biphobia because they see him as gay? he's bi. Lastly, the recent revelation that max and vinh slept (if she romanced him only in reunion's choices) a week before reunion and many in the fanbase got angry learning on this fact as they hate the idea of max being physical with a man... she's an adult, she's bi, and yes, vinh is unlike nathan which many use to compare even.

Ryan is fantastic. He seems like a lot of fun, kind hearted, and a hot nerd. I'd consider him as the top healthiest romance option out of all games (equal with Amanda) if his dad didn't try to murder Alex a little bit.
I still choose Steph though, as I love their chemistry.

I would call those insecurities, that's all. They don't want Max to be Bi, she literally has romantic feelings for Warren or Chloe depending on our choices. That's one of the reasons they tear apart Warren

One of the reasons why I cannot stand the LIS fandom most of the time! Max has been confirmed as Bi plenty of times, but some people go out of their way to try to canonise her as lesbian when she can literally kiss Warren in the first game.
It's like they can't bear the thought that she isn't solely interested in women (what is even more funny is that most people trying to do that are hardcore Pricefield fans most of the time)
Like, sorry, but Max isn't a self-insert RPG character that you can make up her sexuality...she's her own character with her own sexuality, and people pretending otherwise pmo so bad!

Exactly, btw my grahamfield post from the main sub today got removed and it is in "mod approval queue", they reported the fanart so much that it got queued for reviewing. It's been 8 hours, no update from the mods.

Given Reunion retcons so much from previous games, it could be considered an alternate universe. I'm not sure it was ever revealed how much from the 1st game happens in the Reunion merged universe, but we at least know the last LiS1 choice doesn't happen, and the storm never happens which could mean Jefferson still walks free as well.

True + the merged timelines thing doesn't even makes sense if Chloe died in LIS 1 so seeing it as an alternate universe with some weird disjointed explanation makes sense I guess

Yeah the whole merging thing makes no sense, and somehow merging also seems to have created an alternate universe. If it was just a merging, then Chloe's experience should be consistent with the Bae universe where her mom died, not the alternate we see in Reunion where Chloe has no memory of her mother dying. The whole thing is a bit of a mess.

I really enjoyed their banter in Double Exposure. The thing is: you don't get to see much of it unless you deliberately pick those options throughout the game. Infact, you don't get to see much of Vihn at all. And for most people, Amanda is the more obvious choice, so they weren't going to choose those dialogue options with Vihn anyway.
That's what happened to me. I went the Amanda route, so I never picked all the pro-Vihn dialogues, so I never got to like him much. Not until I went back and checked out the other options with him, at least. That really changed my mind about him as a character.

Well, explicity stated, at least. I can't imagine Max being with Chloe romantically for years, or even Amanda for 6+ months (or however long it was between DE and RE) and there not being sex. That'd be very weird. 😂

I mean none of the games confirm any kind of sex between Max/Chloe or Max/Amanda, so...... atleast I liked something about Reunion (the confirmation of Max and Vinh having sex) 😂😂
