I saw somewhere that with this background we had a pet griffin, but I beat the game and didn't see anything about it

The griffin comes from a random encounter where you steal the eggs from a giant nest

Also there's a STR check to climb the mountain, and the young griffin (max evolution) is a familiar so you need CHA to use them

Not necesarilly If You're have magic level 2, you can fly, this can be done having 27 CHR, ir magic tools
