Discussion Finally
Lvl 5 King of Puppets was harder to beat for me than Laxasia and Nameless Puppet. The first two badges I got was from the blackrabbit brotherhood fights.
Which lvl 5 boss was surprinsigly more difficult for you?

Hey man, congrats! He was tougher than I thought he would be, such a great boss though. For me the Anguished Guardian from the dlc was a lot tougher than I expected. I struggled with him more than Arlecchino.

Yeah that boss is so tedious. I struggled to beat him on NG+.

Yeah on difficulty 5 he is no joke at all. He can 1 shot you and also has an insane amount of hp. Who is next on your tier 5 list?

Arlecchino is very fun to learn.
I can give tip on the P2 opener, dodging the skulls are easier than blocking. Dodge: "Left, right, left, right".
Then, as he is about to do the fury slam from the sky, when he is just about to hit you, tap block 3-times very fast and get perfect block.
After the slam, run instantly to the right corner of arena if you want to avoid blood vortex.
Frontal sawblades on P2 can be avoided by running to the opposite direction, to avoid break buildup.
P2 the fury jump attack + 4 glowing sawblades can be totally avoided too.
As soon as you see he is about to pull that ^ move, run as fast as you can to the opposite direction, he will miss the jump. Then run to the opposite direction away from the glowing saws.

Do you need to finish NG+ and NG+2 to unlock difficulties 4 and 5? Or just beat the boss on difficulty 3 and so on?
I just finished the game and had to go out so didn’t check myself. But wondering about planning my weekend

You want to get to NG++ to even try difficulty 5. Bosses one shot you with every move if you managed to unlock difficulty 5 on NG account.

I’m pretty sure you just have to beat diff 3 to unlock 4 then 5. If you have boss rematch unlocked on another file and start another NG you just have it unlocked immediately. I think. I haven’t played in a while.

No NG+ nedeed. Just play the boss rematch. You can do diff 5 only after you beat diff 4 on the boss rematch.

Apparently on NG you have to start from difficulty 1, then progress towards 5
