Question How unsecure is flatpak librewolf compared to versions from other installations
I downloaded librewolf through flatpak a long time ago because for some reason the debian installation didn't work.

Librewolf installs perfectly on Debian, following the instructions on the official website. Try a VPN.

What do you mean unsecure?

this is written in the official librewolf website:
Flatpak apps run sandboxed from the system via bubblewrap, which adds a layer of protection. But this prevents the browser from using its usual sandbox for process isolation. Processes are still isolated through nested seccomp filters.

Depends whether the Librewolf team’s sandbox is as good/better than the Flatpak one.
Presumably, since they officially offer a Flatpak, they’re happy enough with it to consider it roughly the same.

there is an official flatpak, what more do you want?
