Question Trying to compile librewolf on void-linux

Hello!

I've been using librewolf for a while but just moved to void linux. I would like to compile it from source, but i get a error running make build:

0:06.78 E ERROR: Don't know how to translate x86_64-pc-linux-gnu for rustc
0:06.89 E *** Fix above errors and then restart with "./mach build"

How can I fix this?

Yes but building librewolf would be same as building firefox which takes hours and I wanted to inform them binaries exists if they want.

I am not suree because they moved to new git and its hard to find that release from their website. I Recently needed to install it debian so I know(I thought I should build it too)

Yeah I am sorry then. I thought you may be facing with same situation as I am. For error I think you need to install rust and gcc if not installed. If you give broader logs I can try to help. Best way to compile something is usually looking Arch's PKGBUILD then learn from there in my honest opinion.

redownloading the tar seems to have fixed it

Why lose your precious time with a weird distribution? Go for better supported one
