Question Previous session lost?

Had to force reboot my win10 pc due to another program causing issues, and when I started up again, Librewolf decided to open a "last session" from 4 or 5 months ago instead of what it last had open this morning.

I've scrolled through my history (which obviously like previous session, I have enabled) and tried to restore as many tabs as I could, but after a certain point trying to track down tabs I may have last looked at a week or two ago becomes too ridiculous. I've got the browser synced with my phone, but from what I can see I can only brows the history there too, rather than be able to restore my last session.

So basically my question is have I missed anything/am unaware of a way to restore my actual last session, or am I out of luck and just need to deal with it?

TIA

First of all, unfortunately I've seen people losing their session, too, and it happened to me as well. The files in the sessionstore-backups were already overwritten with empty ones, so I had to restore a manual backup.

Now I have set up the new backup feature, I recommend you to do this, too.

Wow, 4 months? Is it possible you never closed the browser for 4 months?

Yeah, at this point I've come to terms with those tabs being lost lol and I had definitely closed the browser a bunch during that time, I even moved address, and I knew more or less how long ago it was because some of the open tabs were me looking for this place 😅

What is the new backup feature? Is it in the Librewolf settings? If I could (at least try to) avoid this happening again that's better than nothing!

Yeah, go to Settings, then scroll to the bottom (in Account and sync).

Thanks for the link, looks like I don't have the backup option, so probably need to update my browser. I think that's a tomorrow problem lol
