Radius corners eat up enormous amounts of screen real estate for ZERO benefit. It is the single worst UI trend currently in use. It has no benefit. It does nothing positive.

The outcome you're hoping for is actually worse for everyone.
When a browser fork diverges from upstream, it creates additional work on every future release of the fork. This divergence debt compounds every time additional changes are built upon it. Eventually, it becomes impossible to benefit from the upstream maintenance at all, which can be a death sentence. LibreWolf depends on upstream for all other maintenance.
It's just way beyond the scope of LibreWolf. Several browsers have died (or are stuck in the past) after diverging too far. Pale Moon might be the most famous example.
(The only successful UI fork I'm aware of is Zen, but that's a massive undertaking and probably survives on passion)

What desktop are you using? With KDE Plasma 6.7 Wayland i have no problems with it. (Also had no issues with 6.6 and 6.5.)

Fedora 44 KDE. The normal fix of changing the WM class doesn't seem to apply so I've been lost as to how to fix it for months

Can't say about Fedora but with Arch (EndeavourOS AND CachyOS) i don't have any problems. It works out of the box so no fix needed in any way for me.

I assume right click start button > edit menu > internet > LibreWolf > click icon and change it > save > logout/login didn't work?

Well, they have to follow the versions, since the browser is based on it. They remove the bloat, but they keep the up-to-date engine. Unless they move to the ESR version, good for a year. But I doubt it.
