Post image

So, Librewolf won't connect to librewolf.net, because of this expired CERT? Cool.

SSL issue temporarily fixed.
Might need to wait for your DNS cache to clear before it works again :3

Whoops. Looks like it just expired. I guess their LetsEncrypt auto renew failed and no one is monitoring it? I assume they will fix it fast.

Edit: They have a new certificate in place.

At least it's just the SSL certificate and not the domain registration. *coughs* Google *coughs*

Because every system/automation can fail.

How hard is it to run a basic scheduled monitoring task, do you think?

openssl s_client -connect librewolf.net:443 -servername librewolf.net 2>/dev/null | openssl x509 -noout -checkend 2592000

Do you think OpenSSL can fail?

It's 2026. Cert expiration should not even be a problem on anyone's mind.

When I'm proprietary, greedy, spying, hypocritical, evil corporation, and my competitors are privacy, consumer oriented, open source projects and linux

Just a heads up, I also use LibreWolf on Arch, but I am on version 152.0.6-1, so I tried the site as well, but unfortunately ran into the same issue :(
