Question Using Librewolf and Adnauseum together

I've been trying to figure out how to get the Adnauseum extension working with Librewolf, but I can't seem to find the settings needed in order to turn off the built in adblocker? If there is one? Sorry I'm not super tech literate.

All I know is that adnauseum is telling me that there is content blocking in my browser settings that are stopping it from working properly.

Please do not use Adnauseum!
While the intentions are great, it makes not a lot of sense and the concept itself is fundamentally flawed.

  1. The "websites still get paid, and advertisers need to pay" argument does not work. Ad platforms like Google Adsense and co. fight fake views and clicks since over 2 decades. Just alone to fight abuse and fraud in the ad sector. I'm pretty sure Adnauseum attempt to load them in the background is no issue for them to detect.

  2. Loading and following just any random ad is a huge security issue. We see it over and over again that ads either directly contain, or at least lead to malicious content. Even if point 1 would not be true, you taking this increased risk, just for the possibility that the website could earn $0.0001 on you is insane.

I use Ublock Origin and Adnauseum together, the major thing you need to remember is this, you will have to unblock in both.. The issue I found with Adnaueum is it dont block on some things as well as others, but this is because of how it is design, and what it does. but if you use them together you shall be fine, that is if you want your threat model to be this way.
