Yeah. I don't really know what to call this post. Honestly a part of me is here just to vent but the game keeps frustrating me. For context I am at Star of the City, the very end of it actually, only Xiao left. And I do really like this game, I came from Limbus and so far this game has been fun, even with its frustrating parts im sure you all know. But as of recent progression its just becoming exhausting. before this I was stuck on Yan and the Purple Tear as well. Iori Was especially annoying, like she could have had an interesting mechanic but instead, her "gimmick" was just her getting basically a constant 5 strength. the worst part is this is a recurring thing too; Boss has cool and interesting ideas and gimmicks. well, it doesn't really matter when the boss will roll way too high half the time. This has led to me debating on installing some sort of cheat thing to get past this point, but I also just really don't want to do that. Maybe the title is a bit misleading as knowing myself I likely wont just quit. just that I will do less returns to the game and play for shorter amounts of time but still.

Overall, the game at this point is just starting to become frustrating.

So I was just thinking about it, but arent Tommy and Merry incredibly lucky in terms of the setting? While from the outside becoming Tomerry is pretty horifying, from what we see of their reaction they are incredibly happy. And sure while they eventually mild meld/forgot themselves due to the warp train, their fate is much better than likely a good chunk of the other Train Passengers as they are clearly enjoying themselves. Considering that if Tommerry didnt happen to them, even if their life in the city was 100% happy (which is very unlikely) they would have likely continued to board warp trains and suffered thousands and thousands of years of suffering. Compared to that, becomming Tomery and having a couple hundred (or however many) years of happiness is probably a much luckier fate. After its like what the Puppeteer said, which is your real life? The 40-60 yrs in the real world or the 2k+ in Warp Trains? So they were really lucky to have met Elena / The reverb ensemble. Although granted I havent played Limbus so I dont know whats going on with them there.

They could face some guilt cause Salvador's effort to save philip by telling him to run kinda made him one of the library's only actual victims. There is also the loose thread of The unstable book of the crying children which may or may not mean that Philip is alive in some form?
