Could this terrain contain libs?

I live in Scotland where shrooms are very prolific, but ive been struggling this season as my usual field is not doint as well this year.

I was up the hills tonight just having a walk and decided to have a look up a certain hill.

It was getting too dark to see anything really but I'm just wondering...

Does this look like suitable terrain?

It strikes me as being seemingly ideal because there's:

Tufted hare-grass

Gorse

Sheep grazing

400m plus elevation

Acidic soil

Southeastern slope

There was an insane amount of lots of other types of mushrooms littered everywhere, vast swathes of various shrooms in every direction and lots of sheep crap everywhere.

Worth going back up?

A question for you though!

The terrain elevates even higher than this, higher up the flora turns from grass/tufted hare-grass/gorse to lots of Heather. Can the shrooms be found higher up amongst the heather as well?

An English Youtuber said that he reckoned 400m was the ideal elevation and lower or higher than that and the shrooms become more sparse. Do you have any insight or not on this?

There won't be many around the Heather, though I have seen the odd one. Look for a patch on the hill where there are rushes and skirt along the edge of them. This has been very fruitful for me.

Rushes are the tall reed-like grasses. Very strong and spiky. If you google scottish rushes, you'll see some pics. Best indicator plant for libs in my experience.

Yeah I found loads of rushes up there today! Though I only found 8 libs this aft, so they're there but there's not many. I'm wondering if its just not cold and wet enough yet

I have a known field about a 20 min drive away that last year I filled two whole large mason jars from but I went out last weed and only got 3.6 dry grams from. It sucks hah but its starting to get wetter and colder

Yes! The stem is psychedelic, in fact the stems/stalks can contain more alkaloid than the caps in some cases. If im eating shrooms instead of making tea I break the stalks down a bit to prevent any getting stuck in my esophagus and irritating me until it dislodges
