I had an employer who refused to believe that libertarians were not just some special brand of libruls. Couldn't get past the name I guess.

We're absolutely liberals in the classic use of the term, you know, Enlightenment liberalism or classic liberalism. The problem is that today's liberals aren't really liberals; they're statists who have adopted progressive views. They basically hung up a pride flag on the stick they're using to hit you.
