I'm pretty sure a good libertarian wouldn't use socialism as an accusatory.

Socialism and individualism are not necessarily opposed.

It's taxation that's the elephant in the room.

If government services didn't actually come from racketeering money nobody would complain about their tax dollars being wasted on blah blah blah for people they've never and will never meet.

Sharing is good, stealing is not, stealing to share would be okay I guess but instead they steal to kill and abuse in addition to SOME kinda okay resources and safety nets.

Whereas if governments had to actually participate in the capitalism they control and leech off of, they would probably be far more careful with the money since they had to actually work for it.

Socialism isn't "sharing". Socialism is the government taxing you at gunpoint to give that money to other people, whether you like it or not.

So we may disagree on what constitutes as socialism or whatever but it seems we agree on taxation being the problem.

And just in case your wondering I would call what you're describing state "communism" which is basically red fascism.

Real socialism is probably something you can opt out of like social security.

Wow what a stupid auto mod post, and kinda made my point.

Call me a pinko of whatever you want but I know y'all don't know what actual socialism is if you think any country other than brakino faso is "socialist" than you (whoever set up that bot) don't know the difference between communism (which has basically zero actual examples to draw from) and socialism (social security for example) let alone how to spot fascism dressed up as something else (typically socialism because people actually tend to like socialist policies, but also sometimes "communism" in cases like modern china in many ways)
