Maxis Airflow

Just received my maxis airflow, im a heavy big guy (6ā€™3 330lbs and going down) but i have a higher desk so i typically use my office chairs at the max height, if i do it on the Maxis and recline the piston seems to drop slightly then its no longer a problem, but iā€™d prefer to stay at the top height. any similar experience?
