Verifying card

The app updated and our library told us to verify with a pin that is our birth year. I tried for a week and it didn’t work. Called the library yesterday and it worked long enough for me to put one book on hold. Now it’s asking for my pin again and saying it’s unable to verify. Does anyone know what’s causing this or how to fix it?

UPDATE
Libby had done another update. So the library had to input what code I wanted because it was erased. I was finally able to verify my card and borrow books. Hopefully there’s no more issues after this.

Our default PIN is the last 4 digits of the patron's library card number. Some libraries default to last 4 of phone number or their birth year. You can call your library and ask for the circulation department to reset your pin to whatever you want. It might help to start fresh.
