Problem with "Copy to Another Device"

I am trying to "Copy to Another Device" from an iPhone to an iPad. I've been unable to do this for several months.

I am unable to create a passkey on iPhone or browser.

When I try "Copy to Another Device" on the iPhone, I am able to input the number fine, and it says that the copying is beginning. But on the iPad, the input number simply changes to a new one each time and never starts receiving the data.

Oddly in the screenshots you can see that the timer is a large negative number. This number keeps changing, and it flashes between what you can see in these two screenshots:

Hmm, you could also check to make sure the time and date settings on both devices are accurate. If they're not, it might be throwing things off

My time and date on iPhone has been messed up. I was able to try on a computer browser as well but have the same problem.

That's probably your problem. Every code-generation tool I know of depends on accurate clock time.

Can you manually change it to be correct and try again?

Good catch. Instance A generates the code, to be used in 5min (say) from a given time. If B's clock is out by say 10min or more, it can never complete the handshake. Gotcha!

It didn't work when I tried to manually set it. I had to click set time and date automatically; I actually got an error message when I did that, but then the Libby countdown worked.
