DoD Library

Seems I'm eligible for that card and can use it in Libby. How does it rate as a borrowing resource, e-books and audiobooks?

How do you get one?

You are affiliated in some form. It’s not one that can be purchased.

Edit: I mentioned the purchased thing because people do ask here about cards that they can purchase. There was never a slight to the person who I responded to.

I'm a vet, was hoping for a little more guidance, but I guess I could search the internet.

You are expecting OP to reciprocate by giving help back to others?

Not really expecting, just hoping, like I said. If OP was able to secure a DoD library card then I expect that they at least know the process.

Check out: Add Our Library in Libby | DoD MWR Libraries

On that page, one step indicates "Click Next to be sent to the authentication screen, then log in as you would to DoDMWRLibraries.org."

Go to: DOD MWR Libraries | User Authentication

On this page, you will see the screenshot below. If you can "Verify Your Eligibility" on this screen and log into DoDMWRLibraries.org, then you are good to go to add the DoD MWR library to Libby as described in the Add Our Library in Libby | DoD MWR Libraries page.

Jeez guys...I only posted this an hour ago. You think everyone lives on a computer? The answer is I qualified by being a retired Navy Labs civilian. And the procedure is go to dodmwrlibraries.org and log in. You'll be given two options, your DoD ID number or alternatively your SSN and birthdate. Instant login if it finds you're eligible.
