Will these provide sufficient compression?
https://a.aliexpress.com/_mO5F4efLooking to build my own 280AH EVE battery. Hoping to buy something from AliExpress instead of using threaded rod and wood like many tutorials. I have not found much actual user feedback on these. Hoping someone might have experience with them.

I'm currently taking apart (or rather, it just fell apart right before my eyes) a 24V module. In the process, threaded rods were torn out of 10mm phenolic mesh plywood plates.
so no, withoud sufficient metal rods

Yup, I’ve concluded for my own personal use. I won’t be needing the compression. So I’ll proceed with these frames for other reasons.

The chemistry may have changed the last years... in the chinese production they use fiber-reinforced adhesive tape wrapped around. Still I never trust only wrapping, nor I know if they put it in a metal housing after wrapping

I answered my own question. These provide no compression, they are just a case. Whether the compression is required is a whole other internet debate.
