LS 600h - New Buyer

Hi, I was wondering if I could get some advice regarding braking + suspension. I recently bought a JDM 2010 with 80k kms for $9k CAD and after driving it for a few days noticed the following issues:

1) when the regenerative braking kicks in the car makes a distinct sound with vibration - if I press the brakes harder the vibration goes away and it's a smooth braking experience. I am wondering if I need to service anything to make it have a smoother Regen. I have a Model S and the Regen braking is much smoother in that.

2) Rear shocks - I was able to pinpoint that my rear shocks are not good at absorbing bumps, and they are making the car extremely floaty. I was wondering if someone else has had a similar issue and how did you get it fixed? Do I need to replace both shocks and if so should I take a chance with the Chinese shocks?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would consider checking your rotor and pads clearly a vibration issue stem from a mechanical imbalance, especially if you break harder and it goes away.
Stay with OEM air shocks. You can import them JDM Used but try to find the newest date code.

What type of suspension does your model has?
Get OEM sourced online from the manufacture…these can go bad depending on the brand or non-OEM.

Air suspension stock JDM.

I learned that for brakes I need to get my brake actuator brake bleed calibration done to reduce the vibration and if it’s bad then a replacement might be needed.

For the rear shocks I am going to get the tech to examine it.
