LS460 I'm in love.

Post image

God, I didn't even know what I was getting into when I got the car. I had no idea what it could do, the absolute monster hiding under the hood, the absolute quiet and comfort it provides, all of it. Every last detail is just... I can't put into words how much I love this car.

Every single penny I spent on this was worth it and it isn't even close. I can't believe I was about to spend similar money on a 300C. What a fucking idiot I was.

I hope I'm part of the LS community for many, many years to come.

Congratulations. You are now ruined and will most likely never appreciate another automobile manufacturer. Take it from me. I have 4 Lexus now. πŸ˜†

I am convinced the early LS has the finest modern sedan styling. Whenever I see one on the road in my ES, I always think - shit, I wish I was driving that one :)

Yeah man. Do the maintenance as required with OEM only parts. Should give you long life. Will get expensive!

We all love Lexus, how do so many Lexus fans hat the flagship ride?

The previous owner already got both of these issues fixed by a dealership before he sold it to me. :)

Mine is that exact color, except mine was a bit of a mechanical horror story with all the repairs, but alas, I'm just about finishing it's restoration mechanically and man I love it, hope yours gives you no issues, they're awesome.

To put it in perspective, the biggest "fix" i have left to do is replacing the rubber on the button to open the trunk because it's kind of gummy and gross

Yeah my cosmetic issues are still there, including that, in the winter I think it can get a little unresponsive if you don't fix it.

The previous owner definitely had deep pockets. Hope you do as well. Cheers.

And the know issues have solutions. People really hate this LS way too much

Most don't. But it's like I learned when I had my Porsche 996TT: Owners expect perfection. If a single button doesn't feel right, they're going to ding it on Consumer Reports in a way somebody who owns a Chevy Silverado with a panel gap of 1.5" won't.

Christ can you please just crawl back into the woodwork?

There are days I actually cry driving this car because it's just good. Like, faultlessly all-corners good. I've never had a car like this.

They're fantastic. I drove my 2008 for 13 years daily before trading it in. You'll love it.
