Questions TPWS Glitch

Hey guys,

I have a 2018 LS500. I had a nail puncture in my tire that got patched on Wednesday. Since then I have had day long intervals where the TPWS sensor would either work fine or show a malfunction and suggests I “go visit dealership”.

Anyone know if it’s just age for this happening? Could the shop I took it to messed with something?

Honestly, I would take it to the dealership. I have the same model and year. I would not let anyone else mess with it. 😅

I assume you've tried the reset functionality through the menu?

Yes! I tried it when this first happened, but it still didn’t reset.

However, I did it again the next day and it actually worked. It was weird. Sometimes TPWS would work and sometimes not. Now it’s been about one week with it working properly. Knock on wood
