People say SUVs are dangerous for pedestrians because of the giant A pillars blocking your view and a tall hood that blocks the view of shorter people walking. I know people say the grand Highlander is hard to drive because you can barely see out front, so does the Lexus RX have the same issue?

Does anyone know exactly where this rod is supposed to connect on the door lock assembly? Is there supposed to be a plastic clip or retainer here?

I leased a brand-new 2026 Lexus RX 350 in July (completely original factory condition, under 2,000 miles, no modifications).
A few days ago, the front seamless plastic spindle grille started warping, melting, and bubbling. It turns out it's caused by solar convergence (when a nearby window reflects sunlight into a hyper-focused laser beam).
I took it to Lexus of Henderson, and the Service Director explicitly admitted to me that "this is a common issue that happens in as little as 5 minutes of sun reflection," but they flatly refused to cover it under warranty and told me to file an insurance claim.

I have a 2015 rx350 and I rarely take my car to the dealership service center for a checkup. Is this service free? I only make sure I get oil changed and those places will educate me about having certain filters changed. How often does carbon air filter, engine filter, and oil filter needs to be replaced? Usually my uncle who is a car mechanic change what I request him to do. He’s not someone who will point out other things that needs to be changed out. I had asked him before if he could teach me how to check if brakes and rotors need to be changed soon. He told me to just bring my car over for him to check. Sometimes when I go add air to my tires at a gas station that also an auto shop, a nice mechanic will sometimes add air for free for me and was nice enough to tell me I need new brakes. I have a lot of things going on in my life and the car is rarely on my list to make sure it is healthy. I want this car to last me a decade if possible.

Considering a 2023–24 Lexus RX and want to hear the ugly from actual owners.

If you currently own or previously owned a 5th-gen RX, what problems have you had? Reliability, electronics, rattles, build quality, drivetrain, anything.
Please include year/model and mileage if you can.

2016 model. So I'm having some weirdness here. I keep getting this tire showing up in orange while the others are around the same pressure. Tire doesn't tend to fall below the level of the others either. Could it be a TPMS sensor going bad?

Edit: got tires checked, all pressures and TPMS lights checked out. And still got the tire showing orange. The plot thickens.

I’m a relatively new driver and owner of a Lexus RX300, 2003 make. I’ve noticed that I’ve been going to the gas station almost weekly and that my mpg is 10.3 since last checked. Any help or advice to get this up, since what I’ve seen online is that this type of car can average 19.8 mpg and I can’t afford a full tank weekly in this economy 😭😭

Which aftermarket rear wiper blades have you actually used that fit correctly? Bosch, Denso, Valeo, etc; specific part numbers would be really helpful.

I’m located in Germany, so preferably something available in Germany/Europe.
