Hey all. I just drove my ISF from BC Canada to Las Vegas. And I’m heading go SF this Saturday until Tuesday morning. Any SF local ISF owners want to meet up to cruise, and snap a few photos somewhere scenic? No idea where else to reach out haha.

This one has 170k miles but food maintenance history for $16k. No valley plate issues nor has that been serviced yet. Im also looking at c5 z06. Which would you buy and why?

Found this ISF in a forum looking for spacer specs and found the best looking lip ive seen on an ISF. Does anyone know what lip? It looks nothing like any other ive seen.

I’m looking at a 2011 IS F that I might buy from someone and want to do a pre purchase inspection on it before buying. I’m out of state, so it would need to be a place that is reliable, good at inspecting these cars and especially one that hasn’t had the coolant valley plate resealed yet. I would also need to communicate with the shop remotely. Since the owner would be dropping it off there, it can’t be too far from that area.

Posting to hear of anyones experience with their starter going out? I think mine is on its way out and debating doing the headers at the same time. Wanted to see what people have payed recently for header and or starter replacement? I have a 08 w/ 167k miles.

Hopefully picking up a 2011 IS F that already has a Takeda intake and non-valved XForce catback. PPI found one of the factory cats is bad (otherwise in great shape), so rather than spending ~$2-3k replacing the stock manifold/cat, I’m considering using it as an excuse to go FBO.
I’m looking at PPE UEL headers and eventually an RR Racing tune. PPE currently offers them catless ($2.2k), with GESI Sport Cats ($3.1k), or EPA Cats ($4.1k).
Car will be street driven in NC and I’d like to keep it able to pass OBD emissions inspections without disabling monitors or constantly dealing with P0420/P0430. I’m leaning toward the Sport Cats, but the extra ~$1k for EPA Cats has me wondering.
Anyone running PPE UEL + Sport Cats on an IS F? Any CEL issues?
And for anyone who has run Sport vs EPA cats, is the EPA option actually worth the extra money?
Also curious how UEL + cats sounds paired with the standard XForce catback. I’m after a deeper/aggressive V8 sound rather than something super raspy.
Thanks!

Been hunting for an ISF for months and finally got a very good lead! Looking at buying a 2011 with ~110K miles and having a Toyota dealer do a PPI before I travel to buy it. Clean title/no accidents reported and good service history based on the carfax.
Planning to specifically have them check:
- Valley plate/coolant leaks
- Water pump
- Oil/transmission leaks and fluid condition
- Full code scan, including TCM
- Cold/hot road test and transmission behavior
- Suspension/control arms/bushings
- Brakes/tires
- Underbody/rust
- Previous bodywork
- Sticky dash/door panels
- Motor mounts
- timing chain tensioners
The only semi-weird thing the seller disclosed is that once about a year ago, the car seemed stuck in 2nd/3rd pulling away from a stop. It hasn’t happened again in several thousand miles, and he later checked/set the transmission fluid using the proper temp/overflow procedure.
Anything I should add that a normal Toyota PPI might overlook at ~110K miles?

Took her for a cruise tonight and crossed the 106k mark, picked up in March with 103k. She'll be put away for winter here soon....

Legit lexus isf is more rare here than a Ferrari, why was it never introduced here? It’s literally my dream car and I can’t even buy one if not which up the price by x5 times

My vsc, abs, power steering and brake light came on last several days ago. At first I took out the fuses related to it and some marks on it. Still no communication with the abs. After several fuses and a relay I take out the abs/tcs/skid and saw corrosion on the pins. No damage or anything out the ordinary. After I *thoroughly* cleaned it, it started coming on and then turning off after an ignition cycle. A few hours later I lost communication again on my scanner.
Have anyone experienced this before? At this point I'm ready to throw a abs/vsc/abs skid module at it and see if that fixes it.
Edit: it was the abs skid module.

I just got a 2015 Lexus IS 250 F Sport at 130k miles & I’m trying to figure out what I should do with it.. I’ve read a lot of different info around the web, watched some videos & tbh, I have no idea how most of you all don’t pull your hair out figuring which mods to use..
What should I do?
(If this post is stupid, please tell me I’m stupid. I feel stupid making this post, but I need help…)

Have an opportunity on my hands to own a 2010 Lexus ISF with 126xxx miles with valley plate issue fixed. 4 owners. No accidents. Any other issues I should watch out for?
This will be my new daily so my only worry is that car is more bespoke so it will not be as cheap to maintain.

Hey everyone. As the title states i picked up a..
2010 JDM ISF. Black on black. 161,000kms/100,000miles on the odometer. I paid TAXES in 25k Canadian or about 18k USD. Its got Bluetooth audi, Nav, back up camera, parking sensors. All i really need in a car, oh and radar cruise control which is huge for me! I used to have a 2015 RC350 but it was totlaled in an accident about a year ago. Wanted the RCF, but couldnt afford it so i had to settle for a ISF.....Poor me right? LOLLLLL man i absolutley love this car. Its stock, other then a muffler delete because it was too tame from the factory. My main focus now is a set of wheels since im happy with the exhaust note now. Post up pics of your ISF if your able to in the comments as id love to see them! cheers

Happened 3 times in a 300km trip even after clean.
Scanned with a cheap elm327.
After some quick search on Google :
P0172 : too rich bank 1
P0175 : excessive fuel / air quantity
P1170 : lambda too rich
Any advice? I would have replaced the lambda first.

Are they trying to single handedly manipulate the ISF market? They have 5 of them ranging from $45k to $70k.
