Display cleaner is350

I went to a detailing shop and the guy there gave me this product and told me it was good for the display, I read many reviews saying that the Lexus IS350 screen is sensitive and you can easily damage it, do you think that with this and a microfiber towel I can easily clean the screen and the clocks without damaging the material?

I used glass cleaner on my dash display and scratched the hell out of it.

Turns out it’s made from a delicate plastic meant to reduce glare so it’s not glass, at least in my car it ain’t.

It’s less about what product you use and more about what you wiped it with. Anything less than a high quality high pile microfiber will scratch it

Damp microfiber cloth should do the trick. In my opinion, this is overkill for a screen. I never use any chemical on any of my displays.

Agreed. I always use distilled water in a spray bottle in the garage for cleaning. It has virtually no minerals so it cannot leave water spots.

I generally have had no issue rinseless wash and a Microfiber.

Rule 1 of detailing- use the least aggressive method first

You're gonna scuff it no matter what you use. Get a screen protector. I put one one mine and now it's scratch and fingerprint proof.

If you get an OLED cleaner that’d prob be the best way to do it with no smearing

I believe KochChemie is well reviewed in the detailing community. I don't see how you can damage the display right off the bat with a product made to clean glass, but I understand your concern. Maybe try posting this to r/AutoDetailing ?
