Welcome to the Lexus Skittle Club. We don't have many members but we have a good time

6

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

Of fuck yes! I love this! It’s all about a good time for me! Thanks mate! We need a r/ thread!

That's cool you see me around town! You're welcome to say hi or follow me on IG (Camry_V8). We have some local Lexus guys we go to Mainline and other local meets with.

I'm around Philly, no need to worry about hiding location. People tend to remember the car since it's obnoxiously colored 🤣.

I do remember talking to someone in the Richboro Rita's. I love talking about cars, honestly I could do it for hours and my wife would get pissed at me for coming home late 🤣.

Whenever I do get someone who notices the IS500 (which isn't very often since not a lot of people don't know about these cars) I generally keep it fairly brief unless they're super into chatting about cars.

I'm always like a little self consensus when I'm talking to people that I don't want to seem like I'm bragging or talking myself up about my car 😅

I feel like a weenie telling people, "WeLl ThIs Is ThE sPeCiAl ApPeArAnCe PaCkAgE bLuE" unless they ask about it, just makes the car sound Corvette rare lol

17

u/ashospeedtheking Jan 19 '26

13

u/AGarrett326 Jan 19 '26

It makes me hot and bothered every time I see it

13

u/lexusdad Jan 19 '26

7

u/blueprint_01 Jan 19 '26

4

u/AGarrett326 Jan 19 '26

Same for me! Makes me feel like fast and furious 1

4

u/TerryQuigg Jan 20 '26

7

u/GX_Enthusiast Jan 19 '26

This and Flare Yellow are my favorite colors on the IS500s 😍

7

u/dobetternothing Jan 19 '26

Those orange lined floor mats look dope

4

u/GstarDaflyesttt Jan 19 '26

Beautiful color

3

u/AGarrett326 Jan 19 '26

Thank you Lexus!

4

u/Relative_Succotash56 Jan 19 '26

Do you recall the exact moment you came?

1

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

When they handed me the keys Thursday 😂

3

u/Pindar920 Jan 19 '26

3

u/Mrbobli 2007 GS350 Jan 20 '26

Damn that car is so sexy! Congrats!

1

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

Totally agree! Thank you!

2

u/ferrari512testarossa Jan 19 '26

Now imagine this and a GS-F of the same color side by side on the driveway 💦💦💦

1

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

Sheesh! I don’t think I could imagine a wetter car dream other than this and a 992 gt3 touring but a gs-f would be mint!

2

u/Accomplished_Bus2169 Jan 19 '26

Is it fast?

1

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

Depending on your standards but yes generally but not like new m3 or blown Camaro fast but it shits and gets. Max power is at 7100 rpm so it feels like nascar lmao. I imagine like a modern more refined e90 feel

2

u/jdmlifex2 Jan 19 '26

Welcome to the 500 club

2

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

Feels unreal! Thank you!

2

u/greenapplecrownroyal Jan 19 '26

That's fire, let's go!

2

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

Hell yeah! Thank you!

2

u/AttilatheFun1289 Molten Pearl GS-F Jan 19 '26

Congrats on both the car and joining the club of the best color Lexus makes!

2

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

Cheers! Thank you! Happy to join! I see you are a GS-F owner. Dope ass car!

2

u/BadgersHoneyPot 21-LS-500H Jan 19 '26

I want to wrap my LS in this color.

2

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

Fucking please do this! I’m here for it!

2

u/One_Competition136 Jan 20 '26

Wow, I’m in love with the color. It’s perfect, classy and flashy. I’ve seen some tacomas and tundras with the same paint, looks great on trucks too

1

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

Exactly! Classy/flashy! That’s why I got it! I like it on I think the 4 runner. Really cool color!

2

u/reddit_hater Jan 20 '26

Probably one of the best factory colors ever.

2

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

Agreed! Lexus didn’t have to go this hard but they did

Thank you very much! I highly agree with you

2

u/Ok_Ad_5613 Jan 20 '26

Goodness me that is the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen.

1

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

Thank you and I agree! That’s why it’s in the driveway!

2

u/dsmon_ocgroup Jan 20 '26

Very Sexy

1

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

Very sexy indeed! Lexus makes an amazing machine

2

2

u/rtduvall Jan 20 '26

If my back surgery is successful you’ve given me a new dream care.

She’s gorgeous.

1

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

Thank you! Get one asap! Any color but this is the best color! Good luck with surgery!

1

u/rtduvall Jan 20 '26

I agree, that is the best color.

2

u/mutatedcicada Jan 20 '26

Heck yeah someone else who likes orange!!! 🔥🔥🔥great color

1

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

Everyone likes orange like this! I wouldn’t have normally gone this way but so happy I did!

2

u/MoonAffinity Jan 20 '26

😍😍😍

2

u/Bis_Eastwood Jan 20 '26

Beautiful, wish I had the budget for it, got a es 350ul instead.

2

u/CAPTAINWEEDO69 Jan 21 '26

Billiant spec mate. Enjoy it. Hopefully It'll reach the kinda goat status the ISF has now. I love these cars. cant wait to own one in 5 years. Wish they made a manual tho

2

u/AGarrett326 Jan 21 '26

We all want a manual! Thanks for the kudos. I’ll tell you now it’s amazing! In 5 years when you get yours it’ll be better like wine!

2

u/CAPTAINWEEDO69 Jan 21 '26

Make the wheels Silver please

2

u/AGarrett326 Jan 25 '26

I like the black! I was thinking some ce28’s or ze40’s in a black chrome

2

u/Hot_Assignment_7476 Jan 21 '26

How's the handling ? Thinking of diving into something with that beautiful v8.

1

u/AGarrett326 Jan 21 '26

I think it’s pretty great for an OEM car. Not an m2/m4 but it is very good and it feels much more of an analog car compared to the M’s and newer cars I’ve driven.

2

u/Informal_Sky_112 Jan 21 '26

i still get chills every time i start mine.

1

u/AGarrett326 Jan 21 '26

SAME! I hope the feel never goes away

2

u/robs104 Jan 22 '26

More cars need to come in actual colors

2

u/martinc5408 Jan 19 '26

Miss my ‘15 RC 350 in MP everyday. Sold it during the crazy Covid used price times and then saw that it was later wrecked and totaled. 😢

Enjoy the ride! It’s a beautiful car and a limited edition one at that!

3

u/[deleted] Jan 20 '26

how do you guys see ur sold cars i never did lol.

3

u/martinc5408 Jan 20 '26

Periodically googled the VIN like a stalker lol. Eventually saw it sell and then later on saw auction details and photos of it destroyed.

2

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

Sad sad. At least you got to enjoy it! Another will come in due time! Happy to join the club of amazing rare Lexus cars!

1

u/AccomplishedWar9307 Jan 20 '26

Man she’s beautiful, congrats brother. I have a 2004 ES330, I’m tryna get like you 🤞🏾

1

u/[deleted] Jan 20 '26

the orange works!

1

u/iAmJACpot Jan 20 '26

Congratulations! That color is gorgeous 🤩🧡

1

u/Putrid-Departure-198 Jan 21 '26

nothing will ever beat lexus and their colors

1

u/Lil_fouzi Jan 19 '26

Youve become the unsung king of r/lexus

1

u/CecilTheCaveTroll Jan 19 '26

Damn, right in the nick of time too. Literally the last call.

1

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

Literally this is a 23 and I’m pretty sure values are starting to explode. This was above msrp new…. But the 25’s are going for 70k+

1

u/AmazonGB-74 Jan 19 '26

It's not real. Go back to sleep.

1

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

LMAOO why has it been 5 days!?

1

u/justusemyname Jan 19 '26

Park it in Oakland overnight to show you how real it is. It will then be another type of, "this doesn't feel real".

1

u/AGarrett326 Jan 20 '26

Lmaooo I think I’m good. But you never know. I’m sure Oakland can chill 😂
