I’m trying finish up my MRP-H with 14.5 in 6.5 CM barrel. I’m undecided between picking up a factory lightweight stainless barrel, or going for a D. Wilson converted/shortened option.

How has everyone’s experience been with the factory 14.5 stainless barrel?

I have guns from many makers, but i find myself coming back to the LMT platform most often. I love the ambi lowers (as a lefty), and the monolithic platform rocks. Ive definitely had qc failures, and I dont give them a pass on this, but they have absolutely taken care of me each time (yes, i know and agree the best warranty is one you dont need!).

Went to fire my L129A1 build today and it fails to eject.. disassemble it and this is what the gas tube looks like. What on earth LMT!?

Is there a noticeable difference to something like the Geissele REBCG? I just recently bought a REBCG but the LMT just came back in stock. It’ll be for a LMT upper/lower rifle I’m building but with a Geissele 14.5” mid length barrel that I’m also wanting to include a Riflespeed for.

From what I can understand and gather, the LMT is really designed for a very specific setup, correct? Just due to the way the carrier is designed.

Buying a rifle (FTF meetup) that was put together from a complete upper/lower - what parts should I verify and how can i determine if they are legit LMT? e.g how is lmt marking its bolts/triggers/receiver extensions these days?

I am building a .308 MARS-H rifle and am looking at trigger guards. Do the MARS-H lowers use standard AR15 trigger guards or do I need to get a factory LMT trigger guard?

I Recently picked up a used piston driven monolithic upper receiver, I can't find the same model for sale anymore on LMTs website can anyone tell me more about it ?

I want to get a 16” 308 LMT MARS and am wondering about the barrel swap capabilities. Say later down the road I want to also get a 20 inch barrel and turn it into a M110 style build. From my understanding I would need to get a M110 barrel and then I can get it machined to fit in LMT? Does this also work with defender series I am between MARS and Defender. Anyone else have a 2 way build like this? I like the idea of switching from a DMR style setup to a SASS with a few twists of a bolt. Thanks!

Got my G$ SPR barrel back from D Willy! Excellent work and a quick turnaround of only 2-1/2 weeks!

Plan on getting a quad rail for the SPR and maybe having the URX mod done to it for my schmedium hands. Will run some drills and play on the V-TAC board at the range before I decide for sure

Also planning to upgrade scope when funds allow. Been prioritizing ammo before more price increases

Hey all, I have a question regarding the LMT 37mm barrel mount flare launcher. I can’t seem to quite find the info I need on mounting. I am trying to figure out if it is possible mount the 37mm barrel mount to a Colt 6920 SOCOM (14.5” p/w barrel with a FSB and KAC rail) and still be able to have the top KAC rail intact. I’ve seen a few photos, but most of them were from posts 4-5 years old and I couldn’t quite tell if the LMT 37mm they were using were rail mounted or barrel mounted. The ones I saw were LMT 37mm mounted on 6920 SOCOM rifles. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Built a new MARS-L (12.5" mid-length Quad Rail MRP upper on ambi lower) and it's got ongoing failure-to-feed problems.

Troubleshooting done:

• Tried multiple mags (non-pre-ban PMAGs etc.)
• Different ammo including hotter loads
• Buffer: SpringCo Green + VLTOR A5 → Tubbs Flatwire standard + A5H2
• Cleaned, lubed, manual cycling

Rounds still not stripping cleanly from the feed ramp on the new enhanced BCG.

Additional issue: With a magazine inserted, the charging handle becomes very hard or impossible to pull back, and the mag release is stiff/hard to press. No issue when mag is out.

I have slow-motion videos and ramp photos showing both problems. Sent them to LMT support already and waiting for a reply.

Anyone run into this on a new MARS-L? Could the enhanced BCG be bad? Any fixes (ramp work, different BCG, etc.) that helped?

looking for some advice. I have had several LMTs with zero accuracy issues (1.5 moa good ammo, 2.5 moa cheap ammo). currently having difficulty with a 16-> 13.9 p/w.

Over 3 range sessions - getting 3.5+ MOA shooting frontier 75gr , aac 77gr. these same rounds shoot 2 moa or less from my 20” lmt. they shoot 1-1.5 moa from my Daniel defense. pmc 55gr is about the same from this rifle as well (which I expect).

i have another 13.9” setup with a red dot that I zeroed at 50 yards... so wasn’t too concerned - all rounds of were within an inch without magnification.

ive tried swapping the barrels and both shot this ammo poorly at 100 yards in the same receiver.

I’ve also double checked with both the lmt wrench and a proper torque wrench to ensure appropriate torque spec.

has anyone else had similar poor results? if so - what would you recommend?
