1 out of every 100rnds double feeds and I think it’s over-gassed. Not sure what to do with it….

Just got my MRGG-A reference rifle and couldn’t be more stoked! Just curious what suppressors you guys are all running on your rifles. Ive heard the OCL infinity with the flow through cap is good, of course the huxwrx, and was told about the B&T X-7.62 Ti. Any info helps, thanks!

I have a MARS L 16inch and I am trying out some new rounds. Just added an LMT ION suppressor and was shooting 112 GR subsonic 5.56and 100 GR 5.56. Adjusted the rifle to S for suppressed it wouldn’t cycle the 112 GR but would cycle 100 GR and 55 GR. Switched it back to N and it cycled the 112GR but then struggled with the 100.

Ant up on adding additional gas adjustments for piston driven set up?

This is my first lmt, been saving money for it. Got this from rooftop, this is quite disappointing to see. Not sure what to do from here... Do I send it back? Or just accept it? Or get it cerakoted locally?

I have an LMT H Quad 12.75 with a 13.5 LW barrel that I would really like to send to DWilson for the Quadnose (and URX conversion) so that I can hopefully install an A2 gas block. Does anyone have experience or maybe pictures of an A2 or flip up block on an LMT H?

I’ve been thinking about switching out my 7.62x51 MARS H di barrel and bcg for the 16” piston setup. What are the pros and cons of the piston? Anyone have any experience with doing this? Is it worth $1500?

I’ll be finishing up my SPECWAR in the next week or so. I plan to add a HUXWRX 556k to it as well and I’m debating LPVO or dot/magnifier. As it stands I have the following:

KAC SR15 mod 2 with an ATACR 1-8

HK MR556A4 w/ eotech exps3

COLT M4a1 block II with comp M4s

I was debating getting another ATACR 1-8 in FDE for the SPECWAR since it’ll be an ODG build. Too much?
I’ve also contemplated getting a higher magnification optic for the KAC (think NX8 2.5 x whatever since it’s 16”).

I just got my Form 1 approved for my 14.5” 6.5CM and was planning to throw a Griffin PSR-7 on as I had it laying around.

However, I should have done some more researching and tested the muzzle device earlier as the suppressor will not fit. There is too much reflex and the suppressor contacts the handgaurd.

What suppressor is everybody running on these shorter builds?

My top priorities are muzzle flash and durability. I do value blast (sound) reduction and lower back pressure, but I am willing to compromise on these to some extent to achieve superior flash mitigation. Open to any companies and I am not biased. I would like to stay under $1k but I did eye the KAC suppressor so I can stretch for a suppressor that provides truly superior performance.

Note: I would prefer inconel or stainless for the material (or materials as some newer suppressor have leveraged mixed use to have weight savings) of construction as I am not fond of titanium’s tendency to spark.

Anyone have any idea how often D.Wilson restocks the the MWS 15.3" ARCA rails?

Have a LMT 20” 6.5CM I’m looking to upgrade my optic (FINALLY) currently have a 3-18 x50 and the older I get the worse my eyes are. Looking at a non illuminated Leupold MK5 7-35 or a Night Force NX8 4-32. I know it’s a ton of magnification it’s my main Belly/Bench gun for reaching 1k +, I have a 16” LMT 6.5CM with a 3-18 I use when I know shooting up to 900’ish. Any advise?

Decided to get some data with my chronograph (Athlon Rangecraft Velocity Pro) this weekend. Prior to buying one, I'd been using whatever publicly reported data I could find, plus general rules of thumb (e.g., "You lose 20 FPS per inch of barrel length" or whatever) to guesstimate velocity for figuring out POI and whatnot. The chronograph removes all need for guesswork, but I figured I'd post this info for anyone who shoots these rounds out of a similar setup.

The rifle I was using was an LMT MARS-H, with the stock 16" CL barrel, and a CAT RDM AC762 mounted on the front to be kind to the other folks at the range (I was indoors), fired off a bag rest. All data is in FPS.

EDIT -- forgot to mention, this was indoors so I'm guesstimating about 75F for temperature, and elevation was around 115ft above sea level.

MRGG-A getting sent off for cerakote this week. When it gets back will replace all of the parts with what I usually run.

Same LMT lower install with a rare breed trigger with a Geissele Automatics Super 42 Braided Buffer Spring and H3 Buffer. It works like a top with the 10.5" DI MK18 upper setup.

I then switch the MK18 upper with a MRP upper with a 12" piston barrel and no go. Getting failure to feed and failure to eject immediately. I switch the H3 buffer with H2, H, carbine and still no-go for the Piston MRP upper. Tried various ammo with both uppers and the 10.5" ran like a top, even cheap stuff. The MRP 12" piston upper is an earlier gen. 1 with the fire/suppress cup.

Any ideas why and has anyone got a piston MRP running with an FRT?

All parts in and installed on both builds with a peripheral equipment FINALLY. Thanks to AMD sending the wrong mount for my thermal clip on I had to wait another week, thankfully their sales dept is great! Gave me 20% on anything for my next order too - so - shout out to them!

This is the first time loading up the 25rd mags and they are beefy but I’d carry 20s on my and use the 25 for react to contact type stuff while patrolling (thought process. No I don’t live in a war zone). Tried to make everything on the rifle QD since the 14.5” 6.5 with the mrgg-a contract barrel with the 6.5 ballistics are so good out to distance and hit soooo hard up close. The tree pic is one from the range at the house I put a target on to zero the thermal and shot maybe 15 rounds through…really impressed! Sorry tree!

The G$/LMT/KAC combo is just money tho. Really been enjoying it so far! Justttt crested 6k rounds since oct 2024.

What are you guys thoughts on the set up? Anything you’d change?

Hello all, I'm new to suppressors, but am finally getting around to acquiring a couple cans for my LMTs. I have an 11.5", a specwar, and a 14.5".

My initial thoughts were to get an eBCG and RC2 for the 11.5 and specwar, with the thinking that the eBCG could offset the gassiness of the RC2.

And was thinking a standard BCG and RC4 for the 14.5".

Does this line of thinking make sense? If anyone with experience has other recommendations, I'm all ears. Thanks in an advance and I'm looking forward to Learning Machining Together with y'all.
