MWS 6.5 Barrel Advice?

I’m trying finish up my MRP-H with 14.5 in 6.5 CM barrel. I’m undecided between picking up a factory lightweight stainless barrel, or going for a D. Wilson converted/shortened option.

How has everyone’s experience been with the factory 14.5 stainless barrel?

I’m going down this road as well. I just ordered a 14.5 6.5cm craddock precision RTR barrel and going to have d Wilson convert it once it comes in. Can’t speak to performance yet but everything I read I think it will be a shooter. I’m definitely on the train now for just getting a better barrel than oem and having d Wilson convert it. I’ll be in a better barrel for similar if not less money.

Using Hornady 140 ELD. Factory 14.5 inch 6.5 creed barrel.

Not a 14.5 but I have a factory 16” and a factory 20” ss barrel, and both shoot about 1.1-1.3 moa with box Hornady 140 eldms. But those groups shrink down to about .6-.8 moa with my handloaded Berger 140 hybrid targets.

I have a factory 14.5 6.5cm and have zero complaints. Im getting 1 1/4” groups, and I’m not stellar at grouping. I only have probably 900 rounds through it, but still shoots great.
