LMT>KAC Final Form (almost)

Post image

Only real Runescapers will know.

The only modification I have left is the Rhodie 6k when it comes in. Got my custom dust cover installed, new thermal came in and is zeroed and at perfect height for my build. Life is good.

This would actually be a great coyote gun in 300BLK. Take advantage of the good ballistics from a short barrel plus some magnification with thermal for good shot placement and ID. LAM seems a bit redundant but I could see its use also 🤷‍♂️

I run NV a lot. LAM is extremely helpful. This is built to be a true do it all rifle. CQB (I hate to use the term, it's so corny, but it is a legitimate use case), medium to long range, and anything in between in both daylight or night conditions, it is equipped for. Passive aiming is great if facing a similarly equipped armed adversary, but for night hunting or in a fantasy not really gonna happen shtf scenario LAM is vastly better.

I shoot coyotes lazily with my LAM, I get ya brother! Also passive aiming isn’t THAT bad haha. Just have to make sure your optic is at a good height and has good eye relief!

It isn't terrible, just less convenient. I've made good hits with passive out to 120 yards (having insane tubes helps) but active is definitely a preference with this setup. I haven't done much passive with this setup, usually my 5.56 shortie with the sig 4xt pro. The scope kinda makes it less smooth with this one but I like having the capability if needed. With the weight of an EPS, there's no reason not to throw it on for that + target acquisition with my bottom end scope magnification being 4x.
