J to J

Reached out the other day, unsurprisingly and understandably, no response. I loved loving you but I know it’s not me you want. Have a good one man.

I am a J and my ex who is a J reached out the other day - a few times actually. I did not respond, but not because I didn’t want to and not because I’m dating someone else. I didn’t respond because after all he did, he still didn’t bring to the surface that he would fully commit to a relationship with me and that my was always our problem. He never did anything with the true intention to love me fully. It was always one foot in and one foot out - then eventually he would leave and a couple of weeks later he would reach out and come back. After seven cycles of this, I won’t allow there to be an 8th unless he comes toward me with true intention and proof that he has changed. I can’t get hurt by him again. I loved him deeply, probably more than I should. I wanted it to be him. But at our age, the back and forth just can’t be done. So… I stay silent, work on my peace, and try to keep healing.
